i wanted at least one brief, entirely dreamy transition. think of this as the calm before what is "medicine cabinet" / "after the quake" and the feeling of floating along inside a dream or something. that's what i originally wanted the whole EP to be like until "medicine cabinet" became a thing. it's the only track on here that features my voice, and sadly it isn't singing. i wish i could sing. not that you could sing over this, i don't think. just dream voices talking or rhythmically vocalizing. so I thought my own voice fit in the back here, which kind of freaks me out when I listen to it. by the way, i didn't wanna give too many secrets away, but that synth sound is not a synth.
